If this rematch does in fact happen

how do his fanboys justify it? And remember, FMJ is the one who talked **** about catchweights(along with his fanboys), supposedly this will be a catchweight fight.........

I wanna see how Espinoza spins this. He said it was Pacquiao and there was no plan B.

From the moment he opened his mouth about Manny (after weeks of silence, and only after Oscar announced Canelo agreed to the Cotto terms), I said it was all about trying to scare Cinammon and co. off the date. He figured the only name that would get Canelo-Cotto bumped off May 2 would be a Pacquiao fight. Khan, Garcia, Thurman, etc wouldn't be enough.

But looks like now that Pac and the Networks are all on board and took him seriously... he went with plan B- steal Canelo's prom date

Didn't 'need to', but he did it to try to scare Cinnamon off the date. But since he wasn't budging, he went ahead and poached his opponent. Now that he took away the only fight that could threaten 'Cinco de Mayweather' (barring Canelo fighting Manny), he doesn't need to keep up the Pacquiao charade. Notice how he hasn't uttered a peep about Manny since that Showtime scripted segway.

I'll reserve my judgement until if/when that fight gets made, but the fact that Arum and Floyd don't even make any mention about the TV networks negotiations being a possible roadblock doesn't sound too good. I really hope those gullible casual and hardcore boxing fans take a stand and boycott both Floyd and Manny next fights if they don't fight each other next.

They're going to keep selling/pitching y'all **** fights as long we keep on letting them get away with it. The Cotto rematch is not ****ty fight, but who in their ****ing right mind is demanding for this ****ing fight to happen right now? No one. Same thing with Amir Khan. Those fights can happen afterwards, but people want Mayweather-Pacquiao NOW, not in September, not 2016, or never, we want it now.

I had a gut-feeling that if Floyd gets the opportunity to fight in May 2nd without anyone challenging him for that date, he'll take it and fight someone not named, Manny Pacquiao. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now, but the dude is just as sneaky and slimy as the guy he dislikes[Bob Arum]. I wouldn't be surprised if Mayweather-Cotto happens, but for now, I'll reserve judgement until an official announcement.
