Cotto is from PR not NY so he shouldn't have a fan base there. Canelo is Mexican not from Las Vegas, he shouldn't have fans there. Floyd is from Michigan not Las Vegas, he shouldn't have fans there... That's just a dumbass comment. If you actually lived in Vegas you would know there is a big Filipino population here, especially from Hawaii. The voting signs are in english, spanish and tagalog that should tell you all you need to know about who has the hometown advantage. Canelo vs Mayweather was a nice chess match for the first 6 rounds till Floyd started to move a lot more. On top of that, Canelo is a good style that suits Floyd while Cotto is a nice style to beat Floyd, that is why I even think Floyd ducked Cotto in his prime.

Torres was undefeated and Cotto fought him on 4 week notice or something like that as the other guy was injured. He was also like 28-0 with 26 knockouts, you'd think it was Paulie who dropped Cotto. Really there isn't even a need to get into this anymore, you can say what you want after the fight we won't see you on here for a few weeks then you'll have some excuse for Cotto winning like Canelo wasn't ever that good or his ankle was still dislocated from his body. Well Cotto/Mosley was a PPV not an undercard like Canelo/Mosley and it was 5 or 6 years after Cotto did it. Mosley was still a top notch fighter in what is now 8 years ago that was a huge fight. GB will be fine. Canelo is young and determined. He has great character which seems to be lacking in much of the boxing mainstream with the most popular fighters right now. I don't see how Cotto beats Canelo without backing him up and Canelo is a come forward fighterComment
