If the Klitschko's were in the 90s era they would have been top contenders or champions. They wouldn't have dominated like they did in this era. Simply too much talent. There's a reason why not even Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe, Foreman, Golota, Tyson etc couldn't make that era strictly their own, and it's because there were so much talent.

The Klitschko's are more or less the only talents in this era.
But they would have been in the picture for sure, especially Vitali. Not sure about Wlad, I think he'd have been ko'd more times.

Very gracious of Evander to give them credit while still pointing out how crappy the current HW era is.

To think a guy like wlad or vitali wouldn't have success in any era is absurd..
They may not have 14 title defenses but they would be major players in any era
I think it's hard to say.

Although I don't disagree, The quality of opposition in the current division is such that Wlad is hardly even getting challenged. They don't move any more, there's no snap on punches like in the 90s. And most importantly, there's no balls.

I think it's fair to say he'd be challenged a lot more.

the elder brother would have been able to hold his own in a few but, this bum that likes holding and pushing...(zzzzzzzzzzzzzz) is just a modern day primo carnera. get in with somebody who can wriggle out of all that girlie stuff and outside of germany then its ****! pow! zap! one punch ko,game over, goodbye and thank you for coming.
holmes, tyson, holyfield, ruddock, thomas and even frank bruno would have beaten the younger brother with ease. the elder would have just held out for longer is all. both far too robotic, imagine what a young savage mike tyson would have done to either of the sisters.
this current bum who has reigned for the last however long has one credible name on his record and that is david haye WHO is just a big cruiser.
has the bum ever challenged a bigger bum than himself that he cant push down or hold? he wont even fight the crackpot shannon briggs because hes scared.
never mentions deontay wilder or joshua. the ***** and stigverne are just a pair of fringe domestic entertainers for the caravan soyte! laughable nothing more. just like the sisters.

Yeah Wlad isn't going to be as dominat, he may not ever win a title in the 70s or 90s.. But I do think he would be a force and a top contending heavy in any era..

I think he could win a title. Especially in the 90s where the titles changed hands quite often.

I just don't think either Klitschko would be THE guy in either era.

pretty much the way I see it. they certainly wouldn't have a long string of consecutive title defenses like today but theyd have won and lost some fights to the elite in the 90's. anyone who says they'd simply be sparring partners are delusional

Yeah of course. They would be in a group of top fighters who'd all beat each other.

It would have been great to see.

Why are the Klitschkos always grouped together as if they're one fighter? LOL

I think Vitali could have certainly held his own in a tough HW era, but Wlad would have been KO'd and DQ'd multiple times.
