Probably because Pac was so young and inexperienced then. When he lost to Torrecampo he was 17 or 18 and it was only his 12th fight or something. Rigo is in his thirties and has one of the greatest amateur careers in history behind him.

I wouldn't read too much into Rigo's knockdowns either though.

If Marroqin put Rigo down than I'm sure PAC drops him and stops him

Im a fan of pac but I dont know exactly how many fights he has in each division and if he won by ko or not...
If you do then good for you but I don't have time for all that.

That's what I mean though. Shouldnt look into it so much. Almost every fighter goes down at some point. Many times against unheralded opposition.

I thought this fight already happened long time ago.

Well joking aside most probably the outcome would be the same. Too much power for Rigo to handle from Pac. Pac was a ko monster at 122.

PAC could stop rigo and has fragile as rigo's chin is and as monstrous as pacs left hand was at those weights he could prbly do it with one shot. But if he can stay on his feet and fend off pacs violent assault rigo can out box him

At 122lb, Pacquiao was a very basic one handed fighter with little refinement. A counterpuncher the level of Rigondeaux would have been a nightmare for Pacquiao, on a level even worse than Marquez was.

Okay, so Rigondeaux might taste the canvas. If we have learned anything from him, he gets tagged, might go down, might wobble, but recovers basically instantly. Never loses composure.

Sounds like Marquez, but harder to hit, and with better footwork.

Would definitely be a great fight to see.
