Does Rigondeaux school Pacquiao at 122

Does he? At 122, Rigondeaux vs Pacquiao. Rigondeaux has been knocked down like 3-4 times against Donaire, Cordoba and now Amagasa, at the same time he also dropped Cordoba and Amagasa and beat Amagasa's face to a pulp, as well as schooling Donaire. Pacquiao was KO'ed twice at the lower weights but also racked up the majority of his KO's down there. Pacquiao was also outboxed and outfought by Marquez and Morales at 126 and 130. Surely, Rigondeaux suffers a knock down or two against Pacquiao, but Pacquiao likely suffers a pack of bruises and swollen eyes/orbital bones like those other fighters who try to be aggressive against Rigo.

Worst style match up imaginable for Pacquaio and not his best weight.

What do you think about the knock down's Rigondeaux suffered against fighters who Pacquiao is surely more powerful than, faster than, and all around better than? Does Rigondeaux go 12 with Pacquiao without tasting the canvas? And how would these KD's affect the scorecards? Despite JMM schooling Pacquiao twice at 126 and 130, it was knockdowns that did him in and allowed judges to narrowly give the fights to Pacquiao.

i doubt rigo's chin would hold up against pac at 122. pac had an almost 100% KO ratio at 122.

plus pac is 3 inches taller than rigo and has a longer reach.

School? No. Beat? Possibly. I'd favor Pacquiao and always have when this is brought up.

                  1. No poll.
                  2. Since your thread, Rigondeaux has been knocked down twice by a C fighter and Pacquiao knocked down a B- fighter 6 times.
