I've been watching Brook for years. He's one hell of a good fighter believe me. In fact I said years ago that he was one of the best at 147 and people laughed. He demonstrated his skills in the Porter win where he pretty much dominated that fight.
Brook is a force to be reckoned with. I think Khan and Brook are the future of the welterweight division (and possibly Thurman too but he has he even fought a top 10 fighter yet??) and they have a real rivalry too so that is going to be one great fight when it eventually happens. Hopefully end of 2015 or early 2016.
He's got the boxing brain to beat near enough everyone in that division, especially Khan. When Khan gets caught we all know what happens and Kell will catch him

I do think Brook will land some clean shots on Khan too but we don't know what happens when Brook catches Khan because Khan's not weight-drained now so his punch resistance is better. For proof, go watch the Maidana fight, he took Maidana's best shots clean and didn't even hit the deck. That's because he wasn't weight-drained at 140 in 2010 but he eventually outgrew that division too, had to kill himself to make weight, and subsequently got weight drained.
You can call it excuses but a similar thing happened to Dawson when he moved down to 168 - he got stopped by light-hitting Ward of all people because Dawson was weight drained. Ward isn't a power puncher by any means and Dawson had never been stopped before! Soon as he got weight-drained he's hitting the deck against a light puncher.
Same thing happened to Pacquiao too early in his career - he got stopped several times but it was primarily because he was weight-drained. I believe it's the same case with Khan, and with most other boxers actually, your punch resistance can be determined by how badly weight-drained you are.
So let me get this straight....Brook is half black/half white, talks trash, is not a face first brawler and is British and the population of NSB don't like him..........noooooooo
He's ****ing class, the fact you try to suggest Khan is better and has earned more than him by fighting at 140 for years not even being the top dog and beating two journeymen in Collazo and Alexander shows your love for Khan and your obvious agenda.
Khan is not elite and never will be, Brook has a chance against Pac and MAy not Khan.
Brook is a good solid fighter who will absolutely have the opportunity to improve resume, I don't know if he will. I like Brook. I think some of us fans have short term memory. Brooks pulled out of the fight with Devon Alexander multiple times.
I think Brooks gives Khan some trouble, but I'd favor Khan. I like Shawn Porter. He comes from a good team. He fought a horrendous fight though. He got caught in the hype after the Malignaggi destruction. He didn't take his time & apply his technical abilities to the fight. I don't want to take away from Brooks, as his gaameplan very well threw Porter off track. Porter abandoned the jab. Reason I was so impressed with Thurman's clinic over Bundu was because he didn't force the KO, he used effective aggression.
If Brook doesn't get a Khan fight in 2015, I'd like to see him in vs Bradley, Maidana, Thurman, or possibly a Porter rematch

Brook vs Khan is huge fight and pretty evenly matched. Khan would have to go in as a slight, and I mean slight, favourite, but really good cases can be made for both fighters.
Brook is huge and Khan hasn't been in with anyone of his size. Khan is quicker than anyone Brook has been in with, though Porter is pretty quick himself. But he's not as effective being quick as Khan is.

I don't buy that for one second. Khan is what he is and the reason he's changed his fighting style is because he himself and Virgil Hunter know that he has a weakness and they have worked on protecting it. Notice now every time Amir gets close to his opponent and looks like he could get caught Virgil sounds like he's having a heart attack in the corner.
Khan knows his weakness but doesn't like to admit it, which who would? I like Khan aswell but Kell has the beating of him for sure and has the better boxing brain.
