Why do people talk about Kell Brook like he's an established force?

He beats a good fighter Porter and now he's the business? smh this guy has more to prove if he wants me to endorse a fight with the big money guys.

Will he fight Thurman? Doubt it, but I'd give him credit and it would improve his fan level with me.

I'm not sure if I can approve of the Khan fight yet as his opposition aside from Porter has not been stiff enough for my liking, but I think the Khan fight may indeed happen if Pac Floyd happens.

What do you guys think about Brook? People call Thurman overrated but I think they're around the same level, actually I think Thurman's resume is superior.

So if he wants to fight Thurman, will you think he is not worthy of a shot?

Good fighter,, has better wins than nearly all the other welter contenders not named floyd, manny..

I don't think he is going to the hall of fame, but the kid is a legit player in the welter division

He's the goods and has proven it against a top welterweight.

Sure he needs more wins, but that will come.

He has one good win. What else does he have that's better than everybody else at 147?

Bradley has wins over Abregu, Marquez, and Ruslan
Marquez has wins over Pacquiao, Alvarado
Maidana has Broner, Lopez, Soto Karass
          Khan has Alexander and Collazo
Thurman has Bundu, Diaz (had a draw with Porter), and Chaves
          ect.

He has a good win and a pretty record, we need to see more before we start calling him a top guy.

I guess I am the first voter. Good solid fighter but won't be great was the closest to how I think of him of the options you gave. Usually you know a fighter is a great one by the time they are 24 or 25 like Hearns, Leonard and Duran. Brook is maybe 28 and he is a champion but I was surprised he beat Porter. He is very good but nothing about him says greatness unless he gets much better which at his age seems unlikely. I think he is on the same level as Thurman and that would be a good fight to learn about both of them.

I'll be honest I'm not sold on him yet. Porter was a good win but still people make him out to be this dominant force when he hasn't shown that
