Yeah but Thurman's ring name reminds me of PSAs for STD and unwanted pregnancy prevention.

or even go back to 154 and fight

      Lara
      Trout
      Andrade
I think he should stick at 147 until he grows into 154 naturally rather than force a move up - if hes making 147 without too many problems then that's his weight.

As for your question, I'm unsure about Thurman. Hes certainly a good fighter who has great power and could trouble most Welterweights out there but I wasn't too impressed with him in his last fight, he got the job done but there were times where I think he looked a little too raw, I think hes there to be hit and can be out boxed. We'll have to wait and see I suppose.

Fun fact. Thurman's had 17 fights at light middleweight and 7 fights at welterweight. It's time to move back up.

He has had more fights at 154 then 147...why does he need to "grow" into the division?

lol did you completely ignore the points I made about young fighters slowly moving down in weight as their competition improves Larry?

Needs to earn a shot at brook with a signature win. Hiding behind Haymon won't get him there, look what it's doing for quillin.

imagine if before the ortiz fight, maidana was calling to fight floyd at that weigh in. lmao thats about the position that thurman is now. he's calling for mayweather before he has fought anyone with a pulse. before he has even fought someone in a 50-50 fight. hell 60-40.

this clown has TWO divisions to work with and he finds the most obscurest dude in bumdoo. lmao

Yea to me it's a no brainer, I remember watching all his early fights at 154 before he was known and he looked a lot healthier, his punches had more oomph to them and he had energy for days.

Thurman looked like Oscar de la Hoya leading up to the Pacquiao fight weeks before the Bundu fight. I hope they're not giving Thurman kangaroo meat, lol.

Well Maidana and Guerrero aren't Floyd, they are just lower top 10 fighters, so they have to fight whoever is put in front of them.

And he's only half-heartedly calling out Floyd, realistically he knows he can't get that fight without a signature win, he's called out everyone in the top 10 including your idol Maidana numerous times.
