How does the 168 pd champ make an offer to a 160 pd champ??? this is why he put it out there in the media that he was willing and able to fight GGG - they have to make the offer - No larger fighter calls out a lower weight fighter, Ward always defended himself in those interviews, but never would call him out, just let GGG know that he was available. My bad dumb as Chad Dawson did call out Ward and went down in weight and paid the price - lol

Then there was a delay, a meeting with Haymon occurred and then Quillin gave up his belt. Allegedly Quillin recieved $500k to turn down the offer (likely so he can't sue Al Haymon at a later date). Haymon's left Quillin to spin off lame *ss reasons on why he turned it down - uncle has cancer, new kid, Korobov not big enough.

It's in the contract of all Haymon fighters that he has VETO power over what fights the fighters are allowed to take.
      • Roc Nations offered Deontay Wilder a multi-million dollar offer which Haymon had him reject out right.
      • Thurman, who's already in Haymon's dog house reject his multi-million dollar Roc Nation offer before even getting Haymon involved.
      • None of those three fighters are making close to the money that Haymon forced them to turn down.
If what you said is true, Quillin was paid more money by Al Haymon to turn down a fight than Quillin will ever make in the ring, even against GGG.

I wish Quillin would just go away. I don't care if I ever see him fight again.

I am sure everybody (translated) nobody is wondering who Quillin will fight next and for how much money. It wouldn't surprise me if Quillin never gets another title shot (legitimate title shot, not an interim title) again.

        What were these multiple offers?

As soon as Ward answered the challenge publically, Golovkins team were forced to backtrack and say Ward does t bring enough money.

It's reassuring to know that as a boxing community that we can all come together and agree that Kid Chocolate is a joke.

And neither does quillon... The truth is that GGG is a bigger star then quillon, and quillon most likely wont see big money again unless he signs to fight GGG!!

He does talk a bit of sense. He obviously sees ggg as massivd threat so he wants big money to take the fight. If hbo offer him 5m he will prob fight hi

LOL at Dirk comparing Quillin and GGG

How is GGG avoiding a guy a weight class above who hasn't fought in more than a year comparable to a guy who is in the same weight class, dropped his belt to avoid fighting and flat out refuses to fight anyone the same?

Jesus Christ.... hate so strong you actually defend Quillin?

                      Goddan....

I remember when he thought GGG's inability to go to Showtime due to an exclusive contract was a legitimate duck by GGG to not fight Quillin.
