Ward is not going to get any fights at all as long as he represents High Risk - Low Pay. He needs to get active again.
This is why everyone wanted in on the Chavez Jr Sweepstakes, he represents Lower Risk - High Pay
"High Risk - High pay" can happen, but it takes both sides to build their brand, and Ward is not doing it by sitting on the sidelines. He quickly can make it happen by making some sort of deal with Goossen promotions, and getting back in the ring and fighting often. Ward is a fighter and he will view GGG as a high risk also, so he also will want to get paid big. Right now though he simply is not doing his part. I wish he would sit back and truly look at his situation and get rid of the negative influences around him. They are sitting out playing the waiting game, and this sport waiting too long is really bad. Time may be infinite, but not in this sport.

I notice you like to present your opinions as facts, but let me show you how to do this, son: HBO would NOT pay GGG $2 million and Ward $1.4 million (his last purse v. Rodriguez) for a damn fight on HBO regular, to get only a million or two viewers. GGG/Ward is not a PPV fight at this time, but the two fighters have PPV potential both individually and as possible opponents of each other.

Lose, Lose for both fighters
Who's left for both fighters in their respective divisions.
Say 3G does fight Coto, or Alarvez. If he beats them everyone will say be beat bloated Jr. Middles. Yes he can make the $$ fighting them but where's the glory in fighting little men???
Same with Ward. Who's in that horrible division?
Either one goes to up, or the other comes down to face each other.
You know Ward wants no part of "Krusher" at 175....
A catch weight of 164 would benefit both fighters for a lineal supreme Middleweight to hush all the "Jim Lampely's & Kevin Ole's of the media.

GGG ducking lol. There cant be a better time for ward because ward has been inactive and that could make the fight easier for GGG/ #excuse

Change GGG's last name to something American and urban and he'd get proper criticism. See the careers of Roy Jones, B-Hops, Mayweather, etc...
Meanwhile guys like GGG, Kovalev, Calzaghe, Froch, Michalsweski, etc... got pass after pass. Ahhh to be privileged.

Ward is still inactive, which is one reason why the time is not right for this fight.
And Manny is chasing a fight with Floyd, but Ward is not chasing a fight with GGG, so the two situations are not the same.
