How quickly some people flip flop. Remember when Team Golovkin was bragging that he would fight ANYONE from 154 to 168?
Now look at him.Comment

I understand where GGG is coming from.... he has respect for Ward's status and wants it to be a marquee event....with that said, Ward has to be consistent - on one hand he's talking crap about GGG and on the other hand he's not trying to fight anyone else of note and using the lawsuit as an excuse. He needs to do his part to get his money up because no one cares about all of his boring S6 fights. I'm pretty sure Ward is not set for life and he NEEDS those commentator checks.Comment

Come on now, let's be real here.
GGG is great for the sport. A likeable, spectacular, knockout artist. But he don't want none of Ward. At least not yet.
Don't really blame him. No immediate pressure for the fight to happen. They're not even in the same division. But it is what it is.Comment

That is true, if a lot of posters did not really go for that whole Golovkin is feared everyone is ducking Golovkin mantra (which does have some truth to it) it would not happen as much. That **** always comes back around because no one is the hunter forever in boxing.Come on now, let's be real here.

Translation: "It would be a bad business move to lose a fight against Ward before getting all the other lucrative fights out of the way."Comment
