Pacquiao may not have dominated any single division, but that is not the only mark of greatness. I agree with you that Oscar was shot, as was Mosely and there is also a case that Margarito was well past it. However, his win(s) over Bradley are extremely impressive as are the wins over Hatton (yes I know Floyd also beat him but it is as much the manner of the victory), Clottey (a hugely underrated fighter) and his win in Marquez III. Also the victories over Barrera and Morales are arguably better wins than anything Floyd has done.
Also, you cannot criticize Pacquiao for the catch weight against Cotto without doing to same to Floyd in the Alvarez fight.
To be fair, we thought Pac was shot in Diaz's fight to the point where HBO crew were blaming it on his many "wars". However, the instance they brought in Ariza, he seem to have had a resurgence in his fight game. Also, I think this is where the su****ion comes from. But, I am not going to play naïve and pretend like most elite athletes, let alone boxers, are innocent. Heck, I do believe Mayweather himself might be guilty. My point is that everyone's career can be picked apart if one wants to. No point in playing that game against your non-favorite fighters. Just be objective. And if you are indeed objective, you will know Manny would have been deemed "tbe" if he had Mayweathers resume and undefeated record based on the fact that ppl love to love him more than they do Mayweather.

Morales was outclassed by Raheem prior to the Pac's rematch; infact, in the Raheem's fight the commentators were asking for Morales to hang them up.

If Manny had Floyd's resume he would be nowhere near what he is today and if Floyd had Manny's you would worship him like you worship Floyd due to your typical Flowmo race bias.

Cotto, clottey, and a 150 margarito were top welters from 07-10
I'm not trying to take sides or turn this into another floyd/manny debate but
Clottey, margs, cotto were top welters
And though they aren't true welters marquez, Bradley >>>>Ortiz, ghost, marcos

These guys are just black hebrew israelite types they have a blatant race bias and have no objective way of debating.

I don't really look at that as a championship welter fight as floyd was coming off a 2 year layoff and marquez hadn't fougth at welter, and it was a catchweight.. It was more of a warm up fight for floyd..
Same reason I didn't mention rios, algieri

As a novice boxing fan , i watched everything i could watch in Youtube on both fighters , and i think both are great and fun to watch , one is explosive and shows heart , the other is a master tactician and shows great ring IQ , i love both of them and thinks they are great , not sure what is the **** measuring contest , they both had great wins and great nights of boxing.
i hope they fight each other on a trilogy or at least 2 fights so this can be setteled once and for all (1 fight , the loser fans will have a bunch of execuses).
have a happy boxing day.
