Even casual fans hate on Floyd, cause that's all they read and hear...I think the numbers and names cement his legacy, but the hate will always tarnish it.

      1. oscar -completely washed up - non champion
      2. cotto- weight drained like oscar to give pac an advantage
      3. robbed marquez
      4. lost to bradley
      5. koed by marquez
      6 beat bradley
      7. washed up rios
      8. bum algeri

floyd and manny are no where near comparable at 147 or any weight class they competed in.

      floyd has out done manny at 130, 135, 140, 147, and 154...
I'm in no way biased, I have no vested interest in either fighter as I'm British. Pacquiao may not have dominated any single division, but that is not the only mark of greatness. I agree with you that Oscar was shot, as was Mosely and there is also a case that Margarito was well past it. However, his win(s) over Bradley are extremely impressive as are the wins over Hatton (yes I know Floyd also beat him but it is as much the manner of the victory), Clottey (a hugely underrated fighter) and his win in Marquez III. Also the victories over Barrera and Morales are arguably better wins than anything Floyd has done.

Also, you cannot criticize Pacquiao for the catch weight against Cotto without doing to same to Floyd in the Alvarez fight.

Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana, which one of them is better than Bradley or Jmm? Which one of them is better than cotto or margarita? And how many of them were stopped by Floyd? How many provided better fights?

Their overall resumes are comparable but not welter resume

            @ welter they fought

FM: Mitchell(unranked), Judah, Baldomir, Hatton, JMM(unranked at ww was LW champ), Guerrero, Ortiz, Mosley, and maidana

PAC: DLH(unranked), cotto, clottey, JMM1-1(loss by ko jmm was unranked), Bradley(1-1bradley unranked in first fight), Rios(unranked), Algieri(unranked at ww but wbo at jww)

Manny is like 10-4 in title fights, Floyd is 22-0

Floyd has a better comp in each class they both competed in

Overall mayweather has more quantity & quality in less fights IMO, not taking anything from PAC man

You're just doing the tired old Fl*mo game of paper rankings, paper belts and a whole load of poo.

Clottey, Cotto, Bradley etc are better than those bums Judah, Baldomir, Ortiz Guerrero. Those guys are **** it's as simple as that.

he has 14 consecutive wins over 13 past/current titlists or champs....no one else has done this

If you think Mayweather aint fighting good comp then obviously you think nobody is
he's a duck deal with it a duck who has skills and can beat some good guys but still a duck...

lol your not biased but not dominating a division is a mark of greatness.. do you know how that sounds..lol

floyd has dominated `130-135-and 147 having more than 5 title defenses in each division as well as bein recognized as the lineal champ in those weight classes. what lower weight class did pac dominate like floyd dominated 130.

pac is smoke and mirrors he never won a title at 126 or 154 or 140 so im curious what you consider a mark of greatness.

I agree with you that Oscar was shot, as was Mosely and there is also a case that Margarito was well past it. marquez III was a robbery and oscar, margarito, and shane were definitely washed up as they didnt have titles at the time pac fought them, nbut they did have titles when floyd fought them.

Also the victories over Barrera and Morales are arguably better wins than anything Floyd has done.
he beat a washed up barrera and morales who were not prime and thats better than beating oscar and shane when they were champions..pac fought barrera and morales when they did not have titles, floyd fought shane and oscar when they did have titles.

Also, you cannot criticize Pacquiao for the catch weight against Cotto without doing to same to Floyd in the Alvarez fight.
floyd has 1 catch weight while pac has 4 catch weight fights whose the cacthweight king again.

Calzaghe 13 ranked fighters in a row that's a joke surely?

He didn't even fight 13 ranked fighters in general.
