Last night he looked like he's trying to adopt a more fan-friendly style in his comeback.

But you could be right and it might win him the fight, much as I don't like that style.

OK let's take a look at what we have here... A runner who ran a marathon vs Froch in a boring fight that FROCH had to do something... ANYTHING... for there to be ANY action in the fight. Then more track meets vs Abraham... and Abe WAS catching him toward the end there, CLEARLY stunning the guy... and then Abe gets DQ'd because (big surprise) typically inept Laurence Cole couldn't keep order in the ring after Abe knocked down Dirrell. Then the guy takes 5 years of 'tune up' fights, the one before this most recent one was vs Brinson (#75 at SMW)... he gets owned and his head snapped back in the round just before the one he finally gets the stoppage. And then last night's extremely boring fight vs a guy who wasn't interested in even being there. And SOMEHOW... SOMEHOW... all this dookie translates into Froch, a true warrior and legend, being afraid of Dirrell.

This chump should quit boxing and go into standup in Vegas. He'd be a shoe-in.

I felt dirrell won a close decision over froch, but he wasn't engaging much either...

it's pretty clear dirrell had confidence issues back then even though he looked brilliant against abraham...people have to take into account dirrell was pretty green. he only had 18 fights against pretty weak opposition before he enrolled in the super six. ward actually had a comparable record back then but ward has always believed in himself

if he fights froch or abraham again I'm pretty sure confidence won't be an issue, because he now knows how it feels to be on the sidelines watching fighters on his level become superstars. I'd be down with an abraham, froch, even a kessler fight come 2015

Of course Dirrell would petition for a career high payday. You guys forget that these antics are all part of a sale, boxing is business. Fighters willl say or do anything to talk up possible events

Dirrell looked scared in the latter stages of the abraham fight. The fights changed once abraham landed that big shot and dropped him, did anyone else notice that? It was such a domination but once abe landed that one bomb the fight was different. I;m kinda mad we didn't get to see it go 12
