He hasn't even won an ABC strap FFs, and is basically no further along in his career than he was 5 years ago regulated down to prospect status.
exactly what i'm saying. you hit the nail on the head. Dirrell is younger and can build himself up. i understand that beating a big name can get you to where you want to be.but accusing someone of being scared. its pathetic. Froch fighting dirrell does'nt do nothing for his cashing out process.

I wouldn't say Froch is scared. A Dirrell fight makes no business sense for him right now. However, Andre Dirrell proved he was the better fighter when they fought. He beat Froch in his hometown.

Froch won't accept a rematch even if Andre becomes his mandatory.

But if that's the case then he will have to vacate the title, and DeGale vs Dirrell for the vacant strap is a very intriguing matchup of styles.

          i agree.

if froch doesnt get that vegas fight he wants then the only worthwhile match-up for him is get ward to UK but i don't know if 1. froch really wants that or 2. if it will generate enough ££s to make worthwhile as ward would price himself out of fighting anywhere but his own backyard.

other than those one of those i'd rather see froch retire.

yes, dirrel v degale is a tricky fight for both guys and as good a match-up as any if froch vacates.

yeah, i can see it that way too. dirrell and degale are both high risk - low reward fights for froch and not what he wants or needs at this point.

Scared of making no money in the last fight of a long hard career, maybe.

Definitely a great matchup of two young talents. DeGale has really been coming on as of late.

Honestly I just think he doesn't care if he doesn't want to fight DeGale why would he even consider Dirrell.

Dirrell is 31, DeGale is 29 in February. They're edging closer to last chance saloon than anything as far as winning world titles is concerned if truth be told.

Two careers which promised a lot more than they have delivered so far.
