Dirrell has done nothing since Froch beat him years ago.

He's extremely talented, but it's been wasted talent at this stage. Especially in regard to Froch, considering he ran away from him all night and threw himself to the floor several times last time.

Two careers which promised a lot more than they have delivered so far.
Golovkin is 32, older than both, and his star is still on the rise.

Andre Dirrell collapsing to the canvas when he saw the ref coming and pretending he was hit with a bat to the head is what I'll always remember him for. Twitching like he just died was one of the best acting jobs I've ever seen. Froch scared? Crazy to see how both careers have played out: Froch, unified super middle champ looking to cash out. Dirrell, back from obscurity fighting hapless c level guys.

Dirrell is just one of many boxers lately who have wasted their talent, done nothing for years and then want to cry about not getting the opportunity.

Froch won't even bother responding to this fool.

High risk, low reward, it is a fight that wouldn't draw as much attention as JCCJr/Froch.

Since when does using the ring equate to running? Froch knows he was clearly beaten and Dirrell wasnt even experience at that time. Froch cant fight boxers simpe. He's just too slow and Dirrell would beat the hell out of him. All this rubbish about hey it's business makes no cents. Chavez would bring good money to Froch and maybe Ward whom he wont face for fear of another good ass whooping. After that there's no reason why he cant face Dirrell apart from fear.

If you saw the guy who got hit by a cricket ball and died (Phillip Hughes) you'll see that delayed reaction ko's do happen, and they can be VERY serious.

I think we were all a bit quick to say he took an easy way out in that fight.

other than those one of those i'd rather see froch retire.
After the way Andre Dirrell was robbed in Nottingham do you think any fighter will ever want to fight in the UK unless they were compensated for the risk? It's easier to get a decision in Germany than the UK because so many things happen in the UK than anywhere else. If you are about to knock their favourite fighter out they will ring the bell even with 2 minutes to go in the round. We saw that with Enzo Macarinelli so many times, David Haye vs Chisora also. Another problem is if you are ever backked into a corner the ref will wave the fight off 'he was taking a hell lot of shots' even when you took non. And then you have the problem of pre filled cards where you lose with a wide unanimous decision before you even walk into the ring.

It's too dangerous for Froch at this point. High risk, low reward and he's looking to cash out. I can't say I blame him cause he's fought all the best already, his legacy is already set. But I'd rather see him fight the best like DeGale or Dirrell as opposed to Chavez Jr.

It's nothing to do with danger. Froch has 1 fight left, perhaps 2 at a stretch.

What's he going to do? Go to Vegas or sell out Wembley and make millions against a big name, perhaps even try to avenge his only solid loss?

Or fight a guy that couldn't sell out the local village hall, whose performance against Froch was so utterly negative that he lost despite barely being hit?

Get the word 'danger' out of your head. Froch is retiring, not trying to bait a mega fight like e.g. Khan.
