Haha I love when people call Froch scared, it's a great display of IQ, when someone says Froch is scared is like saying 5+5 is a 100!

And another thing, go back, look at the fight against Carl and tell me, which fighter was scared? You were winning the fight but fighting so scared, that the judges simply did not want to give you anything.

It's nothing to do with danger. Froch has 1 fight left, perhaps 2 at a stretch.

What's he going to do? Go to Vegas or sell out Wembley and make millions against a big name, perhaps even try to avenge his only solid loss?

Or fight a guy that couldn't sell out the local village hall, whose performance against Froch was so utterly negative that he lost despite barely being hit?

Get the word 'danger' out of your head. Froch is retiring, not trying to bait a mega fight like e.g. Khan.

I had fun watching Dirrel beat up an overmatched dude that he was supposed to beat up (even though he almost got KTFO at the end) and if he continues to improve, I might back him against other SMWs, but he should beat up somebody of note before he starts talking about Froch.

Why would Froch fight a guy he couldn't beat years ago and got gifted a victory in a fight he did absolutely nothing and showed absolutely nothing to indicate that he could ever get after Dirrell.

However if I was Dirrell I would bring up Froch also because Froch is a big name and Dirrell should have beat him and given that was so long ago he does need to inform the public that he does in fact still exist and does still box.


Froch is just lucky to have got that hometown nod so there was no mess t clean up, be quiet and move on~ and people will just accept it.

This is a good point I suppose, I dunno...guy's been absent for years, weird suspect injury vs Abraham...just kinda' goes against the grain him talking smack about Froch at this point, especially when he was lucky to not blow his whole nice performance in the 12th last night.

It's almost as if Dirrell's last two fights didn't happen...Dirrell has looked very vulnerable. I honestly think his brother would beat him right now, never mind Froch.

i sure would savor a froch/chavez jr fight.
froch says he's always wanted to fight in vegas.
and thats near jrs homebase.
a huge money fight for both.
but jr can make as much fighting someone less dangerous
that he would have a chance against.
jr. knows he don't have a chance against froch.
