Yes because 40 year old Leonard Bundu is on the same level as Devon Alexander

I can understand why Maidana wants Khan but would much rather see him fight Thurman. Khan vs Brook needs to happen!

Yes Khan is ducking a guy who had one round of success and therefore owes him rematch

You go from Broner, Mayweather 2x, you'll feel like you're rebuilding again, and Maidana doesn't have to do that, even though he lost twice. He didn't get KO'ed or completely outclassed. I'm all for Maidana vs Khan II, Pacquiao, Canelo.
I don't have anything against his statements either.

It's just....you know if someone like Khan had made the exact same statement, the reaction would be very different. And the Maidana-tards would be at the front of the queue to bash him.

He used losing to Alexander as a reason not to fight Thurman the first time they were supposed to fight. Thurman is in a better space now, and Maidana lost to Mayweather (who cares?). This fight makes more sense now than it did before. Chino might be feeling less motivated though after facing Floyd twice, which won't bold well against a hungry opponent like Thurman.

Thurman has fought faded names, fringe contenders, journeymen, gatekeepers....it's time for a top ten guy to get in the ring with him.

I'm not surprised because Maidana ducked him a while ago, but I'm tired of this merry go round on NSB of "Thurman is a hypejob" or "Who has Thurman fought that's credible?". How can Thurman ever get a credible opponent when everyone who is considered credible has "bigger fish to fry". Maidana is coming off 2 losses (to a great fighter) so he should be looking to make his name felt again after a dangerous opponent but I don't blame him for taking the money. I blame all you cats on here that call people like Thurman or GGG hype jobs when you damn well know their are fighters actively ducking them. I'm no superfan of Thurman or GGG but the intellect of some of you posters is mindboggling. I can't tell if half of you are trolling or really that damn ******...

                exactly

these are the same folks who say Khan needs to fight Thurmann before having a shot at floyd...now it seems thrumann is a "step down" in their eyes because maidana wants no part of him

I think Khan beating Thurman would gain him similar praise as Maidana beating Broner, people would kinda shut up about Khan. Alexander is a good win but he already got beat up by Porter, Matthysse, Bradley, most thought Kotelnyk beat him. But i'm fine with Khan just beating Guerrero or Brook. Either of those 3 would make Khan look much better. Guerrero, Brook, Thurman. Beating Thurman would get him a cult following like Maidana beating Broner.

Id like to see Maidana get a good win over someone of substance before this fight.
