It's pretty obvious why Bob Arum doesn't think that The biggest fight in boxing history should be on the best date of the year. It's probably close to the same reason why he didn't think that fight should be at the MGM Grand and they should build a stadium in Vegas for it or Pacquiao's stitches wouldn't be healed yet or if Mayweather was with Don King the fight would've been made in 10 minutes. Because Bob Arum does not want Pacquiao to fight Floyd Mayweather!

Point is Arum has no real interest in the date. The date matters to Canelo and DLH. If Arum's real interest is in making THE fight then, that's what he should be focusing on, not introducing new wrinkles into an already convoluted process. If people say floyd is ducking etc, why give him another reason to?
