There's no financial benefit to a Black American and a Filipino fighting on a Mexican Holiday. Floyd-Oscar and Floyd-Canelo were on Cinco de Mayo, featured 2 Mexican superstars and both were record breaking fights. Floyd-Maidan was on the same weekend and Showtime/GBP will never release those buy figures. Lotta good it did to have a non Mexican fight then.

They can change their date, but no one involved (outside of maybe the Puerto Rican Cotto) wants to. So that leaves Floyd with the dilemma of competing with a non Mexican opponent or moving his date with little or no difference financially.
