And I agree this fight sells whenever, wherever, but I'm not buying that BS reason from Arum. He could've just said they wanted to maximize the revenue from Canelo-Cotto first before worrying about a fight that sells itself at anytime and I would have respected that. Arum can say to Showtime/Moonves "look you give us a 50/50 split or I can make Canelo/Cotto happen on that date"
The best thing is that ODL/Arum announce the Canelo/Cotto fight as officially signed for May 2. That way the fight is set. Otherwise they start to play the waiting game and Floyd is not going to do them any favors there. Floyd has announced his past 3 May fights well into February/March and Arum and Oscar can't wait that long.
