But your "mexican superstar" got Schooled by Floyd on cinci demayo!!..how could you still support him after he failed the nation so badly on that special day?

If he wants to stick to the date and challenge Cotto-Canelo, he's going to have to do it with Thurman or Khan (who still has Garcia problems) or some other Maidana level fighter since Freddie Roach can't be in 2 places at once.

Pac-Floyd being on Cinco de Mayo weekend won't affect sales one way or another. Put that fight any weekend next year and it does a minimum 2.5 mil buys at $100 per buy.

Cotto-Canelo on the other hand would be affected very positively by being aired on that weekend as Canelo's fan base is primarily Mexican. The only other viable weekend would be the PR day parade, but that's nowhere near as important as May 5th.

You still haven't answered why Floyd-Manny can't be staged on another date.

Go on, take a stab at it...
if that's the case they should go head to head and see who wins. floyd already made canelo look like a bum in the ring. prince you're a fucking moron topical pac fan so blinded by hate cant even see the truth even if its right in front of your face.

Why the hell shouldn't the biggest fight of the year be on the biggest boxing weekend of the year. Its hilarious, everyone was "I hope Canelo vs. Cotto goes through in may because it forces floyd to fight Pac to compete" now it's "why doesn't floyd move his date". U dudes need to get your damn stories straight. This is downright embarrassing. We all know Floyd isn't movin off that date and frankly why the hell should he? Pac vs. MAY should happen that weekend.

No one has answered why Floyd-Pacquiao can't happen on another date besides 'Cinco de Mayweather'.

          Whenever you're ready.

Yeah, let them go head to head and have Freddie Roach drive from arena to arena in between rounds to coach both Manny and Cotto on the same night.

          Take a bow.

I absolutely love this. What we are seeing is, the boxing world preparing to move on without this coward. Call it what you want, but I hope Cotto/Canelo hold firm on that date, and that Arum and Pac freeze Floyd's a$$ out.

People are sick of him trying to dictate every damn thing. They are daring him to find a credible opponent to compete with that MEGA fight. And like Prince posted, Cotto/Nelo are actually NEGOTIATING and not fu**ing around. So Arum is saying, you know what? FU. We're not fighting on that date. Now what you gonna do about it! I love it.

No actually Floyd publically stated that he doesn't care what Canelo says that he is still fighting on that date so you're wrong there.

"Freddie Roach can't be in two places at once" Are you for real? Like that would be a reason to have Cotto on that date over Pacquaio. PacquIo is the priority not Cotto and that has absolutely nothing to do with Arum.

I've already said that it could be on another date. As can Canelo-Cotto.

It can be on another date but May 2nd would maximise the revenue so why would you want Canelo-Cotto on that date instead of a much bigger fight.

You're absolutely dreaming if you think that date won't effect the sales. History shows us that clearly it will.

Why is Arum even concerned with Canelo and what date he's on? That's the key question. It makes no sense.

Seems like an excuse and a ridiculous one at that.

You posted this with the idea that this will support your argument it actually does the opposite

It's very strange that Arum would say this about that date and it's not a good sign.

                      You just can't be serious.

Floyd stated well before Canelo that his next date was May.

                      Everyone knows that's Floyd's date.

They knew this full well before going forward.
