So true remember every Floyd opponent gets talked up before the fight and then **** on after Floyd wins... it's ****ing sad and pathetic. ****s have been doing it since Floyd made the p4p list.

You also notice how Manny opponents get the exact opposite happen to them. They are bums or not that good before the fight but as soon as Manny beats them they are the best thing since sliced bread unless rematching Manny.

Boxingscene itself shows this bias... notice there is always bad threads about Floyd/Haymon yet never anything negative about Manny/Arum. I think Boxingscene gets that Arum money.

Triangle theories Hahaha I can do it too. Maidana got to fight Floyd because he beat welterweight Broner. Broner went tooth and nail with Emmanuel Taylor.
      Algieri schooled Emmanuel Taylor.

And lets not forget Broner got dropped but still gave Maidana hell.
Broner skipped a weight class (hello) and Maidana even said he was hurt like two times.

This doesn't look like a triangle anymore lol

Seems like you're the one hitting the sauce.

This "Alexander" thing is the dumbest god damn argument you could make in favor of Algieri beating Maidana.
Alexander hits hard? This dude likes to rack up quick points with weak punches that tap you. It's not like he put his chin on the line like Khan did to land a home-run shot.

Let me draw a superlative for you. Was Hatton better in 2008 compared to 2006? How about Bradley in 2014 compared to his 2012? Unless you are some amazing fighter, you don't drastically change from average(per this sentence example only, Bradley & Hatton were quite above average at the aforementioned times) to far past average. Even Pacquiao didn't just go from a left-hook machine to multi-talented in two years.

And again, opponent has more to do with this. Stylistically Alexander may had been krpyto for Marcos; but that doesn't mean that Marcos drastically changed between then & 2014 just after fighting a string of C-D level fighters.

Algieri is a mover and slick while Maidana is a puncher-brawler-2rounds of boxer. These is just a general description of their fighting styles. Since you hate the Alexander argument, I'll provide a slightly different one. Khan & Floyd moved quite a lot to avoid direct contact with Maidana and so that he wears down. He lost those two fights. He beat Broner because Adrien has cement in his feat, but when Marcos started to tire & Broner actually moved a little, he started getting hustled. As for Algieri, when facing Taylor & Prov (in particular) he still got caught every once in awhile, but he moved a lot.& also caught them cleanly, using his great stamina, and got away from the two fighters with heavier feet, slower attack; i.e. Correlations to Marcos' style. He lost to Pacquiao due to Manny's overall speed; foot & attack & upper-body. Maidana doesn't bring that. And looking at who Maidana lost to & beat, is pretty indicative of what Provo is at fault of: can out-punch others similar to him, but gets out-hustled by movers.

The prediction would be Algieri by lukewarm decision or Maidana by ref stoppage (which I'd put my money on Algieri by decision).

        Hide yo kids.

I would probably favor Maidana, but Algieri would certainly give him fits. I could see Algieri winning I guess.

Maidana easy KO/TKO victory after chasing Al*****i for about 6 rounds. Al*****i won't ever make it out the cage.

I'm consumed with the biggest fight in boxing. I told you before IDGAF about boxers. I care about boxing. It's different. It's my job as a fan of this sport to demand this fight and not accept anything else.

You come on these threads and say dumb **** like "I can tell you're backed into a corner, because you've been called out, asked to provide proof" WTF are you talking about. Who asked me for proof of what? You think you can just make up **** to win arguments. johnm is... Lame! There put that in your ******, childish, little collection of people think I'm a good poster quotes.

And as far as the Sotto Karass thing. Maybe you need to get out your moms basement more if you don't understand sarcasm. And your the only one that didn't get it by the way.
Dumbass. You didn't do anything more than prove your ignorance. You have still yet to prove that I defended Mayweather.

You actually just quoted that you, in fact, turned another thread that wasn't about Mayweather, into a thread about Mayweather.

              Essentially, you proved my point.

And no, everyone else noticed your ignorant Soto Karass comment, they were just feeling too embarrassed for you to say anything about it. Go ahead and try to fall back on the sarcasm comment. Notice how no one rode your coattails on that comment? Yeah, me too.

You don't care about boxers? Then why do you ONLY mention 1, in damn near *every* single post?

I didn't say Alexander is some devastating puncher. I said that he hits harder than Algieri, and he does.

And I don't know where in the hell this "Algieri is slick" crap is coming from. He's most known for getting knocked down a lot of times, lol. Sure, he edged out Provodnikov. I believe Maidana is better than Provo. The guy can move, sure, but slick? Come on, man.

Your really ******. LMAO! I show you proof and you say "you still didn't show me proof". I remember watching COPS and they catch this guy doing *******. Stuff's smeared all on his nose and the idiot's still insisting he didn't do it. That's you. You did the same thing on 50 cent thread. Dude put you on the spot and all you do is lie and act like we can't go back and read your original post. You can't just bull**** your way through arguments. And as far as me coming to this thread to talk about Floyd...You dumb Floyd groupie....I created this thread! I'll talk about who I want. Only groupies get mad like you.
I created this thread to show the super advantage with a 26ft ring TBE used to fight his B-level opponent. Heavyweights don't use 26ft rings. IMO Algieri has better legs then Mayweather and would run circles around B-level Maidana.
