2-2, the 3rd fight was close. Anybody that thinks marquez won the 3rd fight wide doesnt know **** about boxing, but i think marquez deserved the decision.

all i know..is that the 2nd fight was my favorite in the series.
They were closest to their prime weight and closer to their primes. They were also blazing fast at superfeatherweight.

I scored the fight for Pac with the knockout being the difference maker for me.

It's the fight that reflects the matchup the best imo. Pac's power and offense, enough to knock jmm down. JMM with the ability to get back up, recover, and counter beautifully. Back and forth matchup.

The 3rd fight was a tactical chess match which I scored a draw and a stalemate. JMM landed more power flush shots..While PAC outworked, threw more, landed more and kept up his activity especially in the late rounds. It all depends on your scoring preferences.

I personally have it 2-1-1 for Pacquiao. But I acknowledge, the first 3 fights were extremely close to call.

          2. Marquez (very close)
          3. Marquez
          4. Obviously Marquez

            I agree with these scores.

I thought 3 was also very close, esp. b/c jmm took his foot off da pedal.

He didn't win it wide, he won it clearly. There's a difference.

                Media scorecards for Pacquiao-Marquez 3
                57 scored it for Marquez
                51 scored it for Pacquiao
                36 scored it a draw

This is as close as it can get. One can argue that some media scores could be even be influenced by the crowd which was pro-JMM, and were loud whenever JMM did anything of note. That affects perception. Anyways, it was close.

I had Marquez winning their last three bouts. In my judgement, Pacquiao should have been awarded the victory in their first meeting due to the three knock downs he secured in the first round but due to a technicality on one of the three official judge's scorecard was only granted a draw.

However, throughout the entire series, while even including the first round of the first bout and aside from all the knockdowns, I thought that Marquez landed the majority and the lion share of the clean effective punches in their entire series of fights; Which I believed gave him the slight edge and upper hand in their match ups.

Clearly, more people had it 7-5 Marquez than the other way around. Also, LOL at it being a pro-Marquez crowd. Pacquiao could jump around the ring shaking his fists in the air and the crowd at his fights would make it sound like he was going Little Mac on Glass Joe.

Pretty much this, I can at least respect the decision in the second fight. I'll never get over the 3rd fight though.
