Clearly, more people had it 7-5 Marquez than the other way around. Also, LOL at it being a pro-Marquez crowd. Pacquiao could jump around the ring shaking his fists in the air and the crowd at his fights would make it sound like he was going Little Mac on Glass Joe.

It was a close fight, I just feel it was a very clear 7-5 victory for Marquez based on scoring criteria. Pac couldn't bail himself out with knockdowns that night, we witnessed the technical excellence that is Juan Manuel Marquez. Pac is the greater fighter, but Marquez was the better man that night.

Punch for punch, the score was REALLY close. Sure throughout the fight Marquez landed the more telling blows but he was inactive in a lot of the rounds too and gave a bunch to pac purely based on activity.

First fight I had Pac winning by 1 or 2 points

Second fight I had it 6-6 with Pac winning by 1 point because of the knockdown

Third fight I had Marquez winning by 1 or 2 rounds

4th Fight, one of them was going to get knocked out. It just happened to be Pac first.

These 2 guys are dead even. They are split down the middle everytime. One of the greatest rivalries in boxing. I'm glad I got to witness them all.

1st: Draw and if not for the knockdowns for Manny it was a whitewash boxing lesson performed by Marquez. Marquez made me like him even more in that fight coming back like that from being knocked down that many times early in the fight. Note: That fight was the best fight on that ppv card... Roy Jones Jr. vs John Ruiz was meh.
