Resume is great but it also helps to heat the people you fight - unfortunately for Froch he lost clearly to Kessler and Ward. Yes, the same Kessler who, in his prime, lost to a declining Calzaghe. Can you honestly say you believe that a prime Froch beats a prime Calzaghe?!
I don't care what he was regarded by people who can't see what's infront of them, Jeff Lacy was a bum. Calzaghe gets credit because it's a fight the fans wanted but the fact remains that Lacy was no a good fighter.

Obviously Froch's win over Bute is much better than that.

Lacy was one of three fighters Calzaghe fought who were in the Top 5 of the division being fought in. His resume is pityful.

Well I thought Robin Reid beat a prime Calzaghe so it wouldn't shock me if Froch did.

Oh how cute! YOu got the Ginger's son in your profile! Who, by the way, is far uglier than the ugly kid could ever be!

Hahaha. So when Defail aka SON OF GINGER gets the rematch he should rightfully be begging for since he's been his son ever since the amateurs, then we can move on and tlak about a Froch fight.

Until then... #SON OF GINGER. Hahaha. Damn that must suck :/

It was his first big stadium fight against a truly world class opponent. Kessler has said that the loss to Calzaghe made him a better fighter.

You're almost as cringeworthy as Groves.

Son? He won a 1 point decision on the cards in a fight most observers thought DeGale won.

Calling a unified champion with almost 40 fights "green" is beyond ******. It was Calzaghe's first big stadium fight too - was he green?

Of course he'd say that. What else is he going to say? That it made him worse?

He was at the peak of his powers and at his most confident against Calzaghe who undressed him in front of 50,000 people. He was also coming off the Ward loss when he fought Froch. There's no way you can even start to argue that Froch fought a better version of Kessler.

I don't recall it like that. I remember the announcers saying they thought Groves nicked it.

But if you can show me a polling or collection of scorecards that proves otherwise ..

Still, SON OF GINGER! Hahaha. Beg for that rematch, DEFAIL, you just might get it.

But please, you look silly trying to call out Froch.

You look like an absolute spastic celebrating a disputed 1 point decision as if it was a destruction. How old are you?

What announcers? Sky had it for DeGale.

Colin Hart had it for DeGale as did Gareth A Davies - both boxing writers from the UK.

Lacy was hyped up to the max by the yanks, who was his best win before he faced Calzaghe? A shot Robin Reid? At least Bute had some solid wins behind him like Bika & Johnson.
I won't bother responding to your truly laughable assertion that Kessler was green - Dirk Diggler has done that for me.

As for Lacy's best win prior to fighting Calzaghe, you'd probably say Sheika - you know, that fighter who beat Bute's really credible opponent, Glen Johnson in a final eliminator to face Calzaghe? So on another note, why is Calzaghe not given credit for dismantling Sheika, if Sheika beat Johnson in a final eliminator beforehand?

                    Lacy looked terrible against Sheika.

Lacy didn't have a good win on his entire career.

Sheika is one of Calzaghe's best wins. I guess that's not sayin much but I did think it was impressive at the time because Sheika was rising and, at worse, was a solid contender at the time.
