Because nobody knows who GGG is yet, it's just that simple. I can't believe people are comparing a guy who draws 300k without Floyd and a guy who's never been on PPV to the drawing power of Cotto vs Floyd. Most mexicans are also smart boxing fans and they even realize that Cotto has a better shot against Floyd than Canelo does against GGG.

Thanks for confirming that. I think it's ****** to put a ppv on a night where there is a quasi free show on another network. Free or ppv a lot would opt for the free methinks. Two ppvs does seem even bumber but does not seem out of bounds for some if the silly things we've seen as of late a la sho contract with may at 32 mil a fight. I too however don't think it will happen

I saw another of ur posts about no one wanting to see may v cotto 2. You should google that. Quit a few articles talking about that fight over the years since their first. I certainly want to see it. However. I certainly want to see pac v may 2015 would be an uber year is may fights cotto in may and pac in sept or vise versa. Perfect way to end contract and shut everyone about being scared. im not against a cotto rematch. im against it as oppsosed too a pacquiao fight. there is no way real boxing fans want cotto over pacquiao. only fanboys do. I get where you coming from though

pacquiao is not a great fighter he is all smoke and mirriors.. cotto has had the greater career in my opinion and i rank him higher all time over pac.

pac did nothing at 130-135-140--147- or 154. besides a bunch of catchweight fights he is nothing special. 20 years from now people will still recognize cotto as the only legitmate 4 weight world champ from puerto rico.

floyd doesn't need to fight a guy scared of needles, he needs to take that 160 title and add to his legacy.

If you think the Cotto that fought Pac is the same guy now, you need some Roger Mayweather advice. They are the same person technically, but they are nowhere near the same fighters. I mean seriously you need to take 13 pounds of muscle off of Cotto just to get him at the weight. Add the fact that he had no trainer and he was still reeling mentally from the Marg loss, totally different fighter it's not even comparable.
