Post millenium no one comes clear to Haye and Khan. I think that's indisputable. Call me a *****-o if you will, you know it's true.

Like I said, Campbell & Yafai are really good talented boxers and so is hughie fury.

My honest opinion Dirk is I think you're a little bit biased with this one.

You're one of the best posters on here but I think you're abit biased toward Degale
I probably am a bit but I don't see your profiling of DeGale as some kind of hard working, fitness, tough Tim Bradley esque fighter. I just can't see that at all.

I could understand you not thinking he's as good as I think he is but its like we're looking at two different fighters

I thought Kal Yafai was the most talented out of the 2008 squad. But obviously I think Amir Khan is the most naturally gifted fighter we've produced recently (if we count that as recent). I also think guys like Luke Campbell and Hughie Fury are comparably bigger or equal in talents to James Degale.
Khan without question talent wise is levels above Degale.

I also am a fan of Yafai.

Like I said I don't see Degale being much more talented than Saunders. Or Kell Brook.

            Nah I'm not saying that.

I'm saying they're comparable in the sense neither are very good in any area but solid in every area.

I think Degale will make it further in the game than Saunders. With regards to natural talent, I think it's fairly equal, maybe degale edging it a bit.

But I feel degale's style is better equipped to the pro game.

                Hughie Fury?

Ok I think we may have different tastes. I don't think Luke Campbell has looked all that talented.

Gaye is fast and powerful. I never thought he was that great a boxer. He certainly improved his defence over the years. Khan is talented but I still think DeGale is a better overall boxer.

What's so funny about that? Hughie Fury is immensely talented, youth world champion. I think he's a top 15 heavyweight now, forget in 5 years time. He's more naturally talented than Joshua every single day of the week.

Well of course I'm thinking about his amateur days as well, and Campbell is one of the best Britain has produced ever, let alone since the millennium.

Both Haye and Khan are on different planets to Degale when it comes to talent and they were also regarded as bigger talents when they came through.

I think DeGale has better boxing I.Q than both of them. Haye and Khan could be a bit brainless at times. Especially Khan.

Well I'm talking about pure natural talent, and imo at least, Degale isn't t their level. But I remember Degale as an amateur he was quite a strong middleweight and beat some good international opponents and looked ok in the olympics. I don't think he looked particularly great in all of his fights, but he did the job.
