The way Khan boxed the eyebrows off Collazo proves hes a far superior athlete than Bradley. . You know why because i know for a fact a Collazo vs Bradley bout turns into a war.Khan is more taylored for Floyd than Timmy.
At least Tim hits what he punches at...Khan has to throw 200 punches at the air just to land one...that's when he's not running and getting countered like crazy.
Hitting the air isn't going to beat Peterson let alone Floyd.
Maybe he can give Mayweather the flu with the breeze coming off all his wild flailing punches, other than that,he's getting picked apart.Comment

i think you put him in their with a prime elite fighter and watch him get outboxed or outfought w/e it is the elite guy's style is, floyd is a hypejob, everyone assumes you need to be overly aggressive with him because of castillo, and now maidana, but the truth is that those guys were simply the best pressure fighters that floyd has ever fought despite them not even being that great of fighters, other styles though floyd hasn't faced at the top level, if judah wasn't a mental handicap he would have ko'd floyd as floyd had no answer whatsoever to his straight left that landed everytime he threw it
we've never seen him in there with a fast fighter who can box, all we've seen is hasbeensComment

I'm not going to get into this with a bunch of posters with double digit I.q.'s. This is boxing. Like your boy mayweather says, this is the hurt business. Except when he's the one getting hurt, he wants special treatment. But I digress. There are illegal tactics in every fight. Mayweather is a huge illegal tactician with his elbows and forearms and clinching. Hopkins was the poster boy for illegal tactics...but since he's such a weathered veteran of the game, he gets a pass. Now, are both mayweather and Hopkins greats? Of course they are. But don't get butthurt and act like they are saints in the ring and the boxing world is conspiring on how to beat them illegally.Comment

I completely agree with ur post up until the GOAT portion haha. Floyd definately has the tools for a GOAT candidate..Canelo was a good win. Maidana was ok considering he had that strap, floyd very well could have unified with porter who had a very solid win at 147 in devon. P4p porter would have been a better win than maidan who beat broner who just jump 2 weight classes, could have evn fought him on sept bcuz he was coming off stopping malinaggi, maidan rematch wasnt needed floyd won 8-4..and now khans next, p4p brook is a more solid fight and he has that strap..khan altho "fast doe" has been knocked off his perch spmetime ago..wouldnt you expect a GOAT candidate to fight the best available opponent? In any other sport this guy would get fined to death and suspended.
"To guard Kobe you must hit him everywhere, the arms, the nuts, kick him, tackle him.." just imagine. .
What JDJ is REALLY saying if you read between the lines is there is no way to beat Floyd, no strategy, no gameplan, there's nothing you can do.
I don't hear nobody telling Algieri to be dirty vs Pacquiao, all they say is use the jab and footwork to outbox him.. that's it, no fouls needed
Can people once and for all stop hating and acknowledge Floyd as the G.O.A.T.Comment

The way to beat Floyd is with feints. You have to fool him. You don't need to use dirty tactics to win - that's ridiculous. Make him the aggressor, set traps, and catch him on the way in.
Every single fighter gets lured in to trying to outbox him or land punches to the head while he's shoulder rolling and popping out of position with his insanely-good head movement. Just ignore all that stuff.
To beat any fighter, you isolate what their strengths are and you take those strengths away from them. Floyd can't avoid punches if he's focused on walking forward and throwing them.
Ex:
Shane Moseley feinted with a double jab downstairs and threw a right hand over the top. What happened? He almost got Floyd out of there.
See Maidana slip and counter Floyd's pull counter numerous times throughout the fight.
Feints and traps. Feints and traps.Last edited by Interloper; 11-17-2014, 01:22 PM.Comment

Floyd can be hit with a hammer in the ring, they don't care as long as he loses. If we truly believe in order to win to do whatever you have to do then how come such a fuss was made about Marquez stepping on Mannys foot to land right hands.. how come Hopkins gets hated for doing exactly what JDJ speaks about.. nobody here has a problem with it because the hatred for Floyd is blinding and impairs judgment. Maidana was literally throwing elbows in the first fight.. but hey, who gives a damn.. but god forbid Algieri steps on Pacquiao's foot Saturday, all hell breaks loose.Comment

Your IQ must be lower than double digits because I asked only about the tactics suggested. Instead of answering, you brought up a whole host of other things.I'm not going to get into this with a bunch of posters with double digit I.q.'s. This is boxing. If you have any basic grasp of the English language, then you can draw from it's context that I was speaking directly to your suggestion of using illegal tactics. If you cannot conclude that, well, I cannot, nor will I, help you figure it out. Toodles.Comment

Sadly, your post isn't far off from the truth. The step on the foot pics was just another in the long line of garbage Manny fans have polluted NSB with.Floyd can be hit with a hammer in the ring, they don't care as long as he loses. I hope Floyd sr or Roy Jones suggests using these tactics to beat any of NSB's favorite sons. Threads will be much different.Comment
