    1. in his prime, he only lost to Ali and Jimmy Young. The loss to Ali is suspect as Ali leaned on the malfunctioning ropes the entire fight while Foreman pressed all the action and dominated him. In a rematch Foreman would have KTFO Ali brutally.

    2. he annihilated every single opponent of Ali who defeated Ali. Annihilated Ken Norton whom Ali lost to, annihilated Joe Frazier whom Ali lost to, annihilated common opponents better such as Chuvalo in 3 when Ali took him 12 UD, annihilated Ron Lyle in 5, Ali took 11, etc, etc.

    3. Then Foreman came back in a whole 2nd career at age 38 spanning another full 10 years where he annihilated more people finishing with an unprecedented and mind blowing 76(68 KO's)-5 record where he destroyed Michael Moore and captured the heavyweight title again at an unprecedented age.

I think a clear case can be made for Foreman being the #1 GOAT at heavyweight, however at the minimum I can see some people having Ali, but Foreman at the minimum is #2 greatest of all time. The only thing against him is that he lost to the #1 guy in a suspect fight where the #1 guy used dishonorable cowardly tactics otherwise he would of been annihilated. In a rematch, Foreman who was owning Ali physically in that fight would have destroyed Ali.

To me he is the #1 heavyweight of all time.

People have excuses for EVERYTHING on this site. I stopped reading right there.

Point is, Foreman beat himself in Africa, and he could have beaten Ali with a trainer who didn't pace him constantly in that fight like Sadler did. Foreman was the champion going into that fight, he could have Ali come to him.

Foreman is more impressive. He was out for a decade, came back, eventually world champ again aged 45.
      You literally make no sense.

This is some self serving bull****. You don't even care about Foreman you just want a pat on the back. Ali the GOAT? According to who? Himself? What about Robinson? Ezzard Charles? Joe Louis? Hank Armstrong? Jack Dempsey? SRL? Whitaker?

News Flash to people on this site, when your discussing the GOAT its not limited to Heavyweights

Oh and P4P H2H James Toney would **** all over Foreman, call him a punk and bust him with counter rights all night.

Lmao ,"calls foreman the goat not ali". Ali straight manhadled and tricked foreman, same would have happened in a rematch, ali is a very smart fighter.

Goes for the typical excuse "(insert loser here)would beat his azz in rematch" lmao bruh

Ppl like Joe Louis are great fighters in their time but they wouldnt have lasted against Ali. He is much more evolved from the brawling peroid in boxing....louis is way too flat footed and relies only on power, that is the perfect matchup for Ali, just like liston.

It was so bad that you got fanboys like this who simply can't believe it and have to assume it's some kind of freak of nature event or even a conspiracy. LOL. 4 decades later and Ali, the GOAT, still has doubters because his legacy is larger than life. It's just too good to be true, it can't be real because it's like a real life Hollywood movie. It can't be, it just can't!
Yea taking these anti ali threads seriously is a joke, its better to just ignore this nincompoop

I think overall Foreman was the better fighter between he and Ali. But as I've said about Ali many times before... He is a cult of personality foremost and a fighter second, so it's difficult to reason with his television-weened worshipers.
