Strictly speaking, Ali is overrated as a fighter - he lacks solid fundamentals. He relies mainly on his athleticism (prime) and speed. Later his ability to absorb punishment and general ring IQ.

Most of the big guys today would walk through him.

How would they walk through him when guys like shavers and norton couldnt walk through him? that just doesnt make sense lmao. Ali had a great chin,he had great speed, was smart in the ring and knew every trick, had great determination and heart, also had a good right hand and was very good at counterpunching.

Not to mention pulev wobbled klitschko and made his knees buckle with a slick left that is slower than ali. Then again managed to rock him hard right before being knocked out himself.......what do you think will happen when someone like ali starts atatcking klitchko with greater speed and finesse ? he will get knocked out, if pulev can rock klitschko twice, im pretty confident ali can finish the job easily.......i have great respect for klitschko since he is ukrainian just like i am and gives ukraine pride and he is my favorite fighter today after floyd but he doesnt stand a chance against ali

You are basically saying that ali beats guys like foreman, shavers, norton, rony lyle, sonny liston,.....but doesnt survive in todays boxing scene....? is that what you are trying to say lmao?
