What they won't say is that Andre lost because he never had what it would take to defeat Kovalev. Mark my words; If the fight takes place, Andre loses and his fans as well as the media make excuse after excuse after excuse for him.

Cotto-Canelo is as much a big event as a big fight. Whoever wins still won't even be regarded as the best middleweight in the world.

A win for Kovalev or Ward is hugely significant by comparison, even if the fight's not going to generate the same kind of money.

        He probably does.

Ward's star ain't the brightest right now, and he'd be fighting a unified LHW champ riding a high, including a ruthless KO streak and the domination of a boxing legend.

Quite aside from which. of course, Kovalev has said on several occasions (even before his rapid rise to boxing stardom) that he can't make 168 anyway.

Ward ain't fighting anyway, but a substantial reason is that no-one wants to give him the money he wants for the kinda fights he wants. Blame Ward or not, he ain't the A side side here.

Perhaps Ward needs to take a leaf outta Sergeis book, you make yourself a star by taking the big fights and giving the fans what they want even if you don't get the $s you want. Maybe Ward also needs to recognise that the viewing public ain't got a very long memory.

Broadcasers ain't gonna keep giving you $2 mil per fight when you never fight.

Ward wants the big $ paydays he's gonna have to fight the big $ guys and accept that he probably ain't the biggest name anymore. He wants to be A side? - well he might just need to prove he's worth it all over again.

Ward doesn't want to fight at 175, and won't, as long as Kovalev is top dawg.

When Kovalev busts Ward's head open and Mayweather retires 85% of boxing scene's population will disappear. You will have to visit a museum to learn about a time when "slick" fighters roamed the Earth, before the great Russian comet hit.

A couple of desperate guerrillas will cling to some sorry American prospect who fights at 108 lbs.

I agree with him on catch weights , this is why I think Pacquiao should've met Algieri at 140, making Chris come up lessens his chance of winning even further..

Jackson is absolutely right about ward fighting smaller guys instead of moving up

Thanks. I did misunderstand, and I appreciate your clearing it up for me.

This **** is absurd, how can Ward garner so much hate when he isn't even fighting right now? Ward rarely even talks about his contract dispute or the time frame for his return to the ring, folks are literally making stuff up to suit their agenda.

It's like the ****ing Twilight Zone in here, notyhing ever makes sense.....

Ward would be best served fighting Stevenson at 175. much easier fight for him, style wise.
