Nobody takes Ward to school, because he quit.

Did I read that correctly? Did he just say Kovalev cleaned out his division?

I have lost all hope now.

Ward will beat him, Hopkins at 50 lasted, and was able to maneuver - Ward is a year or 2 younger, this fight will happen, its a real challenge for both fighters, its a Mega fight! They both fight on HBO - Ward is a dangerous cat, remember he won Gold at 175 - he will be better at the weight. I like what I saw with Kovalev, the biggest thing was his composure and following his corner - HUGE for the Russian, he stuck to the plan and kept his composure - too many fighters lose because of that 1 thing alone, and that was the main obstacle that Hopkins couldn't adjust to over come (largely due to being 50 - but no excuses, which leads me to Ward who has the youth to make those subtle but critical adjustments)

This fight is gonna happen, and if Stevenson doesn't grow a pair he will be left out in the cold again..

            Ward is already done.
A wasted career blamed on "Promotional Issues".
Have not seen him do color on HBO for awhile either.
He won't step up to the plate anytime soon.

I love it: Jackson is 100% correct. Ward is B side due to his inactivity. Meet the challenge Andre; fight Sergey at 175.

Actually Able Sanchez has requested that Andre Ward quit using social media to call out GGG and instead formally contact GGG's management and set the process for a fight in progress. So, basically Sanchez is calling Ward's bluff - quit playing social media games; instead man up and contact GGG's management and we'll get this thing done.

I know it sounds crazy but shouldn't we wait until Ward has a return fight before we talk about him facing Kovalev? On a another note, Ward's not even ranked at 175lbs! Doesn't Kovalev has mandatories, how would Ward be allowed to fight the champ of the division without ever competing in that weight class?

make it happen. ward won't take rodriguez money to go up in weight to fight kovalev, so expect to pay more than 2 million.

2 million is the max that can be spent on one side of a championship boxing card on HBO, especially when the other side commands close to as much, or as much money.

make the fight. expect it to be on ppv.
