irony, thy name is forgetting the beating the prince dished out.

you've also got the guys who have never scored a decent boxing match in their lives, who seem to think the ward - froch fight was close because of limey commentary.

    limeys aren't biased, or anything.
Ward v. Froch was completely one-sided. There is a reason Froch doesn't want a rematch with Ward.

What they won't say is that Andre lost because he never had what it would take to defeat Kovalev. Mark my words; If the fight takes place, Andre loses and his fans as well as the media make excuse after excuse after excuse for him. One other thing as well; does anybody believe that any fighter would cultivate Ward's style if he had the talent, skill, ability, technique, creativity, or athleticism to fight like Kovalev or GGG (or any other dynamic fighter for that matter)?
No excuses...like I said, get his promoter **** squared away. Let him get a reasonable tune up.

Then we don't see you anymore because Ward schools Kovalev and you are embarrassed.

Ward is taking a page out of Bernard Hopkins career move. A natural Light-Heavyweight who moved down in weight to fight smaller fighters. And not just any weight, they picked the weakest division to avoid elite talents that are next to that division. Believe me, he knew which weight class he wanted to make easy fights in. Carl Froch and Mikkel Kessler aren't Elite talents. Both are slow as hell w/ average skills. Joe Calzaghe already dominated a young Kessler.

Dream on. I say that Ward won't fight Kovalev, but if he does he takes the beating of a lifetime, and the same thing happens if he fights GGG. Kovalev or GGG aren't avoiding the squared circle. It's Andre Ward, and all his phony efforts to challenge GGG mean nothing. Andre, get with your people. Contact GGG's or Sergey's people. Hammer out a contract. That's how business is done. Posting messages on social media is what any teenager does in an attempt to build street cred. That doesn't make it in a world of sanctioning bodies, contracts and dollars. Get with the program, Andre. The beating of a lifetime.

                    You're delusional.

Ward beats the **** out of Kovalev and Golovkin.

GGG wants no parts at all..he drops his looping punches to his waist.
Kovalev squares himself up too much to beat a guy on Ward's level.

2 million is the max that can be spent on one side of a championship boxing card on HBO, especially when the other side commands close to as much, or as much money.

make the fight. expect it to be on ppv.
Ward knows this, that's why he wanted Chavez. He's the class of boxing, but doesn't command star power. He'd need a fight against someone who will bring the eyeballs for his introduction to the PPV game.

As much as people want to see these Ward-Golovkin, Ward-Kovalev, Ward-Stevenson match ups, they just don't make sense yet because none of them are established in PPV yet. If Ward fought and beat Chavez on a PPV and Golovkin did the same to Cotto, I'd be willing to bet that they'll start negotiating really quick.
