Both guesses are wrong, Big Dunn...

Dirrell and Abraham haven't been 'dominating' and both he and Ward have said that they wont fight each other so that leaves Froch at 168lb.

He said 'a' division below him though not 'the' and that 'people respect you for fighting the fights that others run away from. I want to fight the best, no matter how it pans out.'

That makes it sound more like Golovkin. Either way though GGG and Froch have little to gain from fighting Bernard.

I don't fully agree: Both Froch and Hopkins would gain huge purses in case they fight at The Wembley Stadium, next May or June... They would make like $6-8 mln each...

we will see. I just figured any fight he took at 168 would benefit his company or his manager. You are making way too much of the post dude.

It would be certifiably insane if Hopkins tried dropping back down to middleweight for a Golovkin fight. Probably no one seriously considers that he'd do it, but Hopkins insisted he was serious about doing so for Mayweather, IIRC.

He might do it for Golovkin.

Well... Hopkins said he would fight "a champion"... For him to fight a "champion" in Canelo or Chavez would mean to wait until September next year... (because Chavez doesn't hold a belt and Canelo would fight for Cotto's belt in May, presumably...)

Look for Hoppy to pick the easiest fake champ there is

Look for the Hop to pick out Arthur Abraham or Anthony Dirrell as the next fraud challenge of bitter old Bernard the Hop. Hop seeks out the weakest foes since Chad whipped Hoppie now Kovalev humiliates the bitter bigotted Hoppy in a classic beatdown the boxing world cheered on. A great win for the good guys and decency and honor. Good prevailed over evil. The world won.

My first reaction when I read this was that no way would BHop come to the UK for Froch
But then, "no way" was exactly what I thought when I first read about BHop vs Kovalev!
Maybe Bernard has it in mind to do something else which would shock people just as much, something Andre Ward was afraid to do.
BHop is definitely not an opponent Froch would relish fighting anywhere but at Wembley.
So maybe be Hopkins is planning to make him an offer he can't refuse?

EX vs Froch. Froch is a big puncher, holds a title, and wants one last big payday. This will be the perfect ending for Hopkins. Great fight and he can walk away with another title at a new division.

                      hope you mean anthony

but if hops is moving down in eight and wants a champion, Froch sounds ideal.
