Calzaghe seems to win every fantasy fight for some strange reason.

      Kovalev batters him.

Tough one, I'm not sure if betting against Joe is a good idea, he seems to have an uncanny ability to win, but at the same time Kov pounds people legit. . . . mind u I think I had similar theory with the B Hop match too

Calz wasnt at his best in the two fights you just pointed out, he was at his best against Lacey, Kessler, Bika and co. Quick, slick, good footwork, great punch output and he managed to stay away from too much punishment. He would win a wide UD over Kovalev.

Not a good fight for Calzaghe but on the other hand I'm not sure Kovalev would stop him.

I think Calz would get beat up and damaged throughout the fight but rack up points with his quick little punches... Controversial decision result.

I would be secretly hoping for Kovalev to knock him out cold the entire time though. Calz is like Hopkins to me, I acknowledge the skill and the resume but hate the cheap ugly boxing style.
