Wlad still clinched every five seconds and threw the same amount of punches.
I probably would've put up with it had there not been another fight going on. Wlad fights are just not easy to watch.

The only fighter Wladimir has beaten in years that is genuinely a good fighter is Povetkin before that you have to go all the way back to Haye.

Pulev is useless he didn't even try take away Wlads left hook, block it, roll with it, slip it, nothing. He got hit by every single left hook he threw as flush as you like.
Yes, no ability whatsoever. Boxing their whole lives but just dunno what they're doing.

If it's so easy to beat WK then surely, out of the millions of boxer and trainer around the world, surely atleast one duo would get together and suss out a method to beat this guy right?

I mean it defies common sense!

        How?

He down down just before he threw it every time.

I haven't seen him use movement since he fought Ustinov.
He looked like this when he fought shot Tony Thompson & Travis Walker
I couldn't believe the regularity Walker was landing that jab, something he is not known for.

I was impressed in the Ustinov fight and thought he was potentially quite good actually but the more I see of him the more I realise hes close to terrible.

I really do not feel this is one of Wladimirs better wins.

I think Wilder knocks him out as quick as he has everyone else.

He will be right in front of him with his chin dangerously high inviting that right hand down the middle and I am anything but sold on Wilder
I think Pulev creates the opening to land first, and Wilder's packing glass. I have no faith in his punch resistance at all.

The division does have good fighters they're just being treated very harshly by the fans of the sport.
Just imagine it. Haye got so much hype from doing almost nothing. Joshua is already the uncrowned champ by the UK because his body looks like a roided out Holyfield/Tyson. Fury gets less hype simply due to loose skin, but still hyped too much.

              • No foot or head movement just stood in front of Wlad. I knew Pulev wasn't all he was made out to be after the Thompson fight but i thought he'd have more intelligence than to do what he did tonight.

I'm not saying its easy to beat Wladimir, absolutely not hes an excellent fighter.
No trainer can improve these fighters that much, they aren't miracle workers.
Its impossible for these fighters to win unless Wladimir ages drastically and then some. Wladimir is that good and they are that bad and only going to get worse. And he has already beaten the best of them with ease.

I think the only HW out there with any chance what so ever is Stiverne and that is a very slim punchers chance. I can't bring myself to give Wilder a punchers chance either he is that raw.
I've been saying for years, none of them can even be competitive with Wlad especially guys like Pulev who I personally think gets knocked out by Stiverne, Povetkin, Takam, Fury, Wilder, Joshua
I wouldn't even put money on that guy beating Arreola or Jennings or a Mike Perez.

                    Opponent will beat Wlad.
                    Wlad dominates opponent.
                    Opponent is a bum.

                    Pathetic logic.

The reason I think it's a great victory is because he gave up the center of the ring, Pulev as froze as he was, was pressing and making Wlad's jab ineffective, actually winning the jab fiasco although neither one landed many jabs as they were just feinting and measuring each other. But Wlad had to improvise, he was getting hit solid in the clinches. He decided to bounce on his toes and lunge with shots. I don't remember the last time he was forced to do so and he had tremendous results.
