Its not a matter of "big punchers" Hopkins has fought many punchers, some of them have been mentioned. Its a matter of weight. Hopkins made a transition and handled the likes of Antonio Tarver....not exactly a powder puff puncher....Hopkins did occasionallt struggle with strong fighters....For example, Taylor...a fight Hopkins arguably won, but he had problems with Taylor's strength.

The writing was on the wall. There would be a time where Hopkins, given his age and given the strength of guys at light heavy when Hopkins would not be able to work inside. Hopkins cannot win fights when he can't fight inside.

Eating crow is a tradition...you pick the wrong guy people should not be defensive EAT CROW! I didn't pick this fight but I thought Hopkins would lose.
