Hopkins should have had a pen and pad instead of gloves, so he could take notes of the boxing lesson he was receiving.
Hopkins really dropped the ball on this one

1. Hopkins was getting countered almost every time he threw his jabs and leads.
2. He felt that every time he got countered.
3. He knew he couldn't quite do it and was content to survive.Comment

Its no point in discussing what BH should or shouldn't have done. Some predicted BH would win, knowledgable people as well. But I said all along BH wasn't winning this one.
I was thinking and talking about what BH was going to plan to do after losing to Kovalev, is he coming back at 50 or what.?Comment

Calzaghe landed more on hopkins than anyone who'd fought him up until that point. He whooped him in his back yard despite all the acting and bs hop tried to pull. You need to move on champ.Comment

man kOvalev would have beaten him easier if Bhop was more braveThe best tactician in the game for over two decades now completely forgot about his lead hand out of fear to get countered. He really shot himself in the foot. I don't think he threw more than 15 jabs the whole fight. Not saying he was going to win, Kovalev is just too big, too fast, too strong and too smart for Hopkins at this stage, but did Hopkins shoot himself in the foot or what? How do you fight a pressure fighter for 12 rounds and you jab him less than 15 times, this is unbelievable especially when it comes to Hopkins and he is the smartest.Comment

Hopkins: "Asking me to fight [again] right now is like asking a woman who spent an hour in labor whether she wants to have another baby."

Bernard is 49.
