    You guys not fooling anybody

Ward will get to 175 eventually, maybe he wants to stay at 168 and Defend his Crown, nothing wrong with that either. Not sure when it became a requirement to move up once you take over a Division. Fighters SHOULD fighter where and at the weight they're most comfortable.

How about guys at 168 grow a pair and call this man out and to at least try to dethrone the best in the Division and the #2 P4P fighter in the world. It is a Sad when the Champion have to CHASE DOWN CONTENDERS when it is suppose to be the other way around.
No.....just no. He's 30, he should have moved up by now. The only fight at 168 is Dirrell. And I'm not convinced either guy wants it. People talk about Floyd and not going after Legacy, well Andre is well worse. Calzaghe is ahead of him for resume still.

no, dawson said something he shouldn't have said, "168, catchweight or 175" right after a fight

later into the negotiations for thw fight, chad's people were clamoring for a catchweight atleast, ward was having none of it and his words "we are holding chad to his word"

chad didn't want to seem like a btch so went with it even though he knew it was a terrible idea and the fight wasn't happening unless ward got it at 168

Dawson asked for a 170 catchweight and Ward said no.

in the amateur ranks you weigh in on the day of the fight and might be in the ring fighting two hours later. its not like the pros where you get roughly 36 hours to recover, allowing you to cut much more weight and get in the ring significantly heavier.

finally, as i have stated on numerous occasions already, ward isnt unwilling to move up to 175. in fact he has stated on multiple occasions he will move up to 175, just that he wants to allow himself to grow into the division naturally and not rush things.

there are fights at 168, not his fault most guys are ducking him like the plague. even so there are good fights to be made against guys willing to fight him, he just needs to get back in the ring right not and the rest isnt too important atm.
When a post like this appears I can only say, instead of me writing something trying to express the same ideas that is inferior...best to just say...This is what I see as the truth regarding Ward.

What people seem loath to appreciate is Ward's decision not to screw with mother nature in a quest to attain titles with little more meaning than Charlie Z's homemade belt. Ward csn rightly claim to be the best fighter at his weight. What people would have him do is silly. Lets say he cuts and cuts for a fight against lighter guys. Everone would accuse him of feasting on smaller men. And Ward has never said he would not go up for the right situation, but why just gain weight and fight higher?

Ward is ducked because he has shown that when he is on he is the best. There is no blue print out to beat him...Even Floyd has shown at his age, that the next pressure guy who is determined enough has the goods to be dangerous to him. No guy wants to be Ward's next prize.

Nobody had a problem when Hopkins made 20 straight defenses in one division. as he waited for big names too move up. (Oscar and tito)

the only people who want ward too move up are people who don't want too see ggg fight him

be consistent with your opinions. Hopkins fought at middleweight from 1988 too 2006. did you call for him too move up during those 18 yrs?

                im sure you didnt

This the same backwards logic that people used with the Canelo-Mayweather situation. If Dawson had the choice, it would be at 175. In fact he tried to get a cathweight of 170 and Ward refused so yeah....Dawson "volunteered" because he knew there was no other way of getting the fight.

Nobody was calling for Ward-Dawson. Not one single person. It wasn't even a figment of anyone's imagination until Dawson called out Ward after the Hopkins rematch in his post-fight interview.
