They know that a Cotto/Canelo fight will outsell them. They've seen the numbers for Floyd's last PPV's. They know his viewership is in decline.

Mayweather and Canelo can both keep saying they are gonna fight on that day as much as they want, but someone is gonna fold. From a business standpoint, no way both of these PPVs air at the same time.

if ever (canelo and fraud decided to fight at the same time on 5/2)) no way in hell that fraud jr gets more ppv buys than canelo on a mexican holiday.

we all know that majority of ppv buys come from latino fans and most fraud fans just stream their idol ppv bouts. so, its safe to say that a canelo fight outsells any of fraud's ppv on said date.

of course,and if cotto/canelo does happen on that date,unless Floyd fights pac,floyd isn't outselling canelo/cotto,i would love for cotto/canelo and Floyd/khan to fight on same day just so Floyd can see he isn't the draw he thinks he is,actually if canelo does fight cotto and win I really think canelo will become a good ppv fighter and in a couple of more fights do better than Floyd has on ppv..I really hope cotto accepts the fight in may,it makes much better financial sense than to have it in june,if he feels he can beat canelo he'll fight him anytime of the year or in vegas,who's to say he can't get robbed anywhere else
