Both Cotto and Canelo have a good point and are both Divas.

Neither man can ask for more than the other. Both will make much more money fighting each other and splitting it 50/50 than they will make fighting anyone else not name Golovovkin. Cotto will get the lesser %age of the mayweather fight and agsinst Canelo he can get 50% cause the fights will do equal in ppv buys. ASSUMING Canelo and Cotto agree on splitting 50/50.

If it were that logical than every super fight in the US would be at a huge venue...but they're typically not. Since PAC fought Clottey/Margs in Cowboy Stadium they haven't been back. There were huge complaints about seating and lack of a decent view of the ring, and seat pricing is cheaper so it's not like they make substantially more. As for your prediction, maybe. More likely Canelo can't handle the skill level of Cotto and gets outclassed, TKO rd 9.

It's quite less I believe 72,000 at 10$ a ticket vs 23,000 at 150-2000$ a ticket ...hell even if all were 150 at 23,000 thats still more than the 72,000 makes...

Cotto has options (Floyd, GGG, Taylor has a belt, etc.). Canelo can't fight anyone on PPV not named Cotto in may vs a Mayweather card. Cotto should get more money. He made 7 mil guaranteed his last fight while Canelo made 3 mil. He is the champ and a future hall of famer. What has Canelo done to deserve 50/50?

Cotto calls the shots (purse split, ring size, location, and date). GGG is already locked in for February, so that is one less option.

May be that is Floyd's May surprise?
Cotto got a 8 mil guarantee the last time they fought plus PPV, and this fight would be bigger. Win lose or draw he can always fight Canelo, GGG, etc on PPV. He should go for the big money now because if he loses then it won't be there for him later.

canelo has home field adv over cotto anywhere but NY or PR , so is not exclusive for vegas or texas... the fight will take place where the most money can be generated regardless of who has the advantage...

Still waiting on how you think Cotto loses by KO... I could care less where it takes place Canelo loses in Texas, Vegas or NY. He just wants in Vegas or Texas so he can get home as soon as possible. Or, he's just too scared to not fight without a crowd or judge in his favor.
