Cotto used to be under contract with Arum. He was done with his contract when he fought floyd. I havent heard of him signing a long term contract with arum again. Arum has been willing to do fight by fight basis with is former fighters if they got enough draw. Its the same way JMM has been fighting both GBP and top rank fighters back and forth easily. If cotto - floyd 2 happens, it will be al haymond handling cotto promotions with floyd promotions doing it on paper.

I love all these people calling Cotto a diva... we don't even know what any of the demands are. But apparently fighting Canelo on his home turf or nothing is being a diva. Canelo needs the Cotto it is not the other way around that's for sure. Cotto still has the option of Floyd out there as well as GGG and even Tim Bradely which is crap but it's out there.

Cotto wants the fight in June around the PR Parade in NYC. Canelo wants the fight on Cinco De Mayo weekend, most likely in Vegas or Dallas, but this fight belongs in Vegas no doubt it's a big fight and all big fights belong in Vegas.

Arum likes to smoke some good $h#t, Hoya likes to get like Tony Montana from time to time, all these Promoters need is some drinks so they can meet in the middle and get this fight done.

If they fight, it will be held in June, just like I said it would. Cotto dictates the terms because he has more options than Alvarez. Cotto, unlike Alvarez, is not ****** enough to try to trump Mayweather. It will be held in either New York or Las Vegas. Texas is practicially Canelo's hometown and Cotto won't be ****** enough to fight there.

After Cotto KO's Alvarez, all the clowns on this site will ciaim that Cotto either used drugs or unfairly held all the advantages or some other such nonsense just as they do with every Mayweather fight. The truth is Cotto will win simply because Alvarez is not that good. If Matthew Hatton can hurt him, Cotto will stop him. Since it won't go the distance, Alvarez won't get a gift decision the way he did against Trout, Lara and almost did against Mayweather.

Where did I say Cotto wasn't a diva? He can say he wants to fight in NY, Canelo hasn't done **** since losing to Floyd to demand anything. He wants the MW title and Cotto holds it, he should take it from the champ in the champions home turf. I really don't see a problem with that, why are you guys so shook for it to be in NY?

Where did I say the Bradely fight was good? I said the Bradley fight WHICH SUCKS, but it's out there. As in, it's a **** fight but it's another option for Cotto if Canelo thinks he's some sort of draw because he did one great PPV. All it meant was 2.2 million people (probably much more because of bars/parties) saw him get clowned in the ring. Learn to read, I thought you were Mexican stop trying to be like Floyd.

Cotto is the A side (Champ, Hall of famer, and proven on PPV) end of discussion. Who can Canelo fight on May 2nd that would compete with Floyd not named Cotto?

Cotto vs Mayweather is the biggest fight on that date and Cotto knows it. So if Canelo thinks he is a superstar then let him walk. Hell Cotto could Face Jermaine Taylor on PPV and do bigger numbers than Canelo.

Cotto has more options since he is the lineal Middle weight champ.
