Canelo and Oscar better smarten up. I told people before Cotto is going to give these guys a rude awakening. Everyone assumed Cinco De Mayo and Vegas. no way.
I'm sure that Texas is a NO GO for Cotto, but I believe Vegas on 5 de Mayo is an option. Pretty sure Cotto and his team will be like you want the venue, date, and challenge MY WBC Middleweight belt, pay me. Purse and PPV $$$ will be greatly on Cotto's favor. As easy as that, Cotto has more options that Canelo at this point!!!

I for one don't see why a city like Chicago isn't ever talked about. Great sports town. Has a variety of Mexicans and PRs and is a neutral city. But I figured Cotto wouldn't let canelo dictate the date, location, venue etc rtf while he just sits back and says, "yes, sir."
It does not make any sense that Chicago continues to be ignored as a fight town. I can only assume it's the lack of an established venue. Put it in the United Center and 20K will fill it every time.

Miguel Hoto is going to nickel and dime that fight into the cemetery with his rockstar attitude and prima donna sense of entitlement. We get it Miguel. You beat Sergio "Forrest Gump Legs" Martinez and Antonio "Earache My Eye" Margarito. Don't turn into Marquez now. Hoto.

This is 100% diva a$s Cotto. He'd only bow to Floyd and thats for the pay day. Don't like the guy outside the ring.

None the less, let Cotto get his cash-out fight settles so he can retire properly. Team Canelo should also understand this and give the man what he wants.
Trout and Mayweather almost stopped him? Yes Mayweather momentarily stunned him with an uppercut but he far from "almost stopped him". As far as Trout, I think you're reaching here.

I don't see canelo getting both. he probably get one of those demands.

                    • As long as they say "The winner of the fight must defend against Golovkin next" then I'm fine with whatever else the contract says.
