Maidana DROPS every 147-154 pounder with normal punchers gloves. If he uses the sparring gloves Floyd forced him to use, Thurman has a chance to win by decision.

I'll take Maidana. If he can fight like he did in Floyd 1 he has a chance to beat any WW.

Maidana isn't very good. Floyd decided to go toe to toe with him and that's what made it an even fight. If Maidana fought like that against a strong boxer-puncher like Thurman, he would catch up on some sleep. He would have to be a lot more cautious and not walk face first into punches like he usually does.

Fair points. But Thurman has been caught by men who I don't think hit as hard as Maidana. Maidana is experienced and will make Thurman work. If they fight, we can throw some e points on it.

I just think being that aggressive against someone who can punch on the backfoot is a very bad idea.

But yeah, sure, I'd be up for a bet if this fight gets made! I can actually see it happening. Thurman is interim WBA champ, Maidana is ranked #3, with Khan at #2. If Floyd fights Khan is May, Thurman vs Maidana for the soon-to-be vacant WBA regular title on that undercard would be ace!

              I don't trust Thurman's chin, or Maidana's body.

I think it would end in a stoppage, but I'm not so sure who would be the one to get stopped.

Good fight. I'd go with Maidana though.

maidana always lose fantasy matchups by a body shot KO, in every thread involving maidana vs any fighter, that prediction is never missed.
i go with chino. once he lands on thurman, and he will, one time won't know what to do, and will get eventually stopped.

Dude has been ko'd to the body in 20 fantasy fights

Thurman is still too unproven IMO while Chino has progressed as a boxer under Garcia. I would give Maidana the edge though.
