I haven't watched the Dirrell fight since it happened but my memory of it is that Froch was being out-boxed badly at times, frustrated by Dirrell not allowing him to work and Dirrell getting slammed . I'm indifferent to that fight though as I thought Dirrell didn't deserve the win for all his holding and playing possum tactics.

I'd say good boxers who can last give Froch problems. Emphasis on the 'who can last'. I think Toney would stop Froch and then the highlights of the fight would be 10 minutes of Toney's counter rights

I hope he gets this fight with Chavez Jr in Vegas, he's given me some great nights and that guarantees to be the war of all wars. I remember watching the Taylor fight on tape delay at midnight on ITV. Wow.

Dirrell definitely gave him a whole heap of problems. Like I said I had him winning but so many rounds he did almost nothing, gave many rounds away or allowed them to be scored to either man. Dirrell only really dominated a few rounds, If he fought the whole fight like he did the late rounds he'd have won easily.

I agree that there's plenty who will trouble Froch. He has many flaws.

I don't see Toney stopping Froch. Like I said I would pick Toney to win and he's always going to have success with Froch but I watched Toney struggle with sub par fighters too many times, and very arguably lose. Toney was a hit and miss fighter, looked great in some fights and looked terrible in some fights, I wouldn't count Froch out.

I remember watching that Taylor fight aswell. I expected Taylor to dominate/stop him. That was an epic ending. I hope he gets the Chavez fight.

Hard to be considered ATG when he's never been regarded as the best in his division but HOF? Yes imo.

Agree about HOFer but disagree with what u said next. Why is he not close to being an ATG, I can only count 2, maybe 3 fighters who are currently active with a better resume. His only legit loss is to ward who u probably class as a current top top pfp guy.

So why is so far away from being an ATG? He has a good jab, exceptional power, ATG chin, has fought multiple styles beaten almost all of them and is one of thermostat entertaining fighters of his gen. All qualities needed to be an ATG.

Imo if he manages to move up to lhw and beat kovalev or Stevenson or maybe hops, he'd be right up for contention. Or if GGG moves up.in weight.
