Froch never even moved up in weight. He was never considered the best fighter in his weight class. He is borderline HOF at best right now.

What the hell makes Froch's resume so great? Who the **** is Groves? So he destroyed a brittle Bute and beat Kessler 7 years after Calzaghe did. Is Kessler even a great fighter? I would argue he was very good at best.

This idea that the Super Middle division is so great just because they made some tourney years ago doesn't make sense to me. Froch had had a good career and has a solid resume. The man never even tried to test the waters at 175.

lucian bute is the most overrated fighter of the last 10 years, and his overrating was in direct response to ward hatred.
froch needed a rematchw ith groves. froch was literally out on his feet in the first fight.

he lost to ward, and kessler in the first fight. he beat a clearly faded kessler in the rematch. he's expressed that he's got no interest in even fighting ward again.


he's overrated by euros as a backlash against the greatness of the prince. it is what it is.

Ward's PEDs started to wear off in the later rounds and he was hanging on for dear life.

Froch stops him in a 15 rounder or with random testing.

It means that you're really awful at making your point and you make yourself sound like a child. I'm asking why you'd devalue your own point with logic-free nonsense like resume-trashing. It's only a step above the triangle theory (fighter A beat fighter B, and fighter B beat fighter C, therefore fighter A must beat fighter C - just in case you're unaware). It's really easy to pick apart even the best resume if you look at every victory from a negatively subjective viewpoint. It's pathetic.

No, Carl Froch is not the best/greatest SMW of his era, but that's not the point I've tried to make. It's utterly irrelevant. Not that you're capable of keeping on track in a debate. Critical thinking skills are rarely present on this forum. I'm actually a huge fan of Andre Ward (seen him live twice now, once against Froch and once against Dawson), I'm just a fan of Carl Froch as well. They are both fantastic for the sport.
