Froch had to beat Kessler or he couldn't have slept knowing Calzaghe had beat him.i think he is desperate to fight in Vegas too because Calzaghe did,only difference Calzaghr fought and beat a legend,Froch wants a guy who is shít always has been shít and always will be shít,or he simply doesn't want a challenge against the likes of Ward,Kessler,DeGale or the Boogeyman...... I'm not sure there is much buzz for a Degale fight here in the UK to be honest. I think the general consensus is that Froch has earned the right to go out on a big payday/fight and that only really points to Chavez Jr.

Degale is a good fighter don't get me wrong and would be a difficult fight for anyone. IF Froch can't get motivated for him then I can understand that. If he retires then all the best to him, he has had an amazing career.

I fucking do. Degale beats him and it's the best way for him to get recognition. Hearn should be push for the fight as Froch has no value to him now that he intends to retire.

Why is Froch acting as if fighting Chavez Jr would be career defining? Sure he'll get a decent payday but who is Chavez Jr and what has he done that's so great that Froch is basing his decision to retire on whether he fights Chavez or not?

lol I agree that Chavez is hardly career defining, Froch already has Kessler, Bute and co but it would be a huge payday and at this stage, that's all Froch wants. A personal dream of a big Vegas PPV. I can't hold that against him. But I'd rather see Froch v DeGale

Thats not even a huge fight, especially since he wants to do it in Vegas. Julio has Bob Arum problems anyways so stop wasting our time trying to make it happen
