He isn't, it's a money grab. Carl has been in with close to everyone you could ask win lose or draw. He deserves this cash fight.

        I'd say he is.

        Why wouldn't he be?

        He's fought great competition consistently.

Thanks for the great fights champ.

His trainer probably told him degale is a difficult match up and I think froch isn't motivated by that fight

Because he can stop a name like Chavez. Froch gets stopped himself by GGG. Chavez makes more sense to go out on.

Step up to 175 and fight BHop or Stevenson.

Who else is out there for him where he can earn a good pay day? While Ward has his number, he isn't much of a draw not even in his hometown.
                  yes, similar thoughts here.

Chavez Jr is the target only because it would be 1. Vegas 2. PPV.

I think that if Ward would be Vegasd with as much $$ then Froch would probably take that too.

GGG just wont get Froch either of those.

If Froch cant get Chavez in Vegas then walking away might be enough; it's his career to decide how to end it.

A possible alternative would be for Hearns to get Ward over to London O2 but it wont be Vegas and it ownt be as muich $$$ as Chavez!!

                    I don't blame him.

He's 37 and has nothing left to prove.

I don't begrudge him the fight either, nor the money.
