*rejects 40million dollar offer
Fighting for charity meant fair pay to both Floyd and Pacquiao.

You flowmos can't stay consistent can you?
Pacquiao talks, "oh hes desperate for a pay day doe"
Pacquiao doesnt talk, "oh he doesnt want the fight doe".
Just to give folks some scope, $25m at the gate would mean that, on PPV, the fight would be sold for $100 per home and 3.5m homes would have to buy the fight, a near full million homes more, at basically double the price, than the most bought fight in the history of the sport.
And even with that, it'd still be under.
Pacquiao gets $40m on the front-end, and Mayweather make $60m+ on the back-end. Even at those numbers, you're looking at a $200m revenue fight, which is just short of the prior revenue record. lol

Lets stop making Canelo and Cotto bigger than they are.I know a lot of you hate this-but Canelo and Cotto are not big names to mainstream, middle class US casual fans that purchase ppv's. Floyd is, despite his "brand" and name taking a huge hit with all the BS and DV stuff.
Interesting to see where all this goes. But Floyd is a proven commodity-the other guys, not so much. Floyd is still seen as the best in the business-and he beat these 2.
Time will tell.
Floyd got 30 million guarantee. and if maidana-maweather2 sell 900k pvp mayweather-khan may sell the same way. but if there are 2 pvp in cinco de mayo floyd may sell more pvp than cotto-canelo but showtime will loss more.
pvp is not an exact math. circumstances surrounding the fight will boost pvp. even if canelo and cotto got lower pvp buys on their own if they fight in may 5, they'll have a good back story. mexico vs puerto rico, taking back cinco de mayo from floyd- will boost mexican nationalistic pride.

Mayweather vs Garcia: The people that would tune in would be the casuals, Mayweather fans, and Garcia fans.
Canelo vs Cotto would get everyone else.
The Casuals represent a large part of the PPV Buys.
